Our Meetings

Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month (excluding July, August & December) at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 350 , 57 Lakeport Road in St Catharines (Port Dalhousie) in the Dalhousie Room. The meetings start at 7:15pm and usually run until approximately 8:30pm.

 The meetings feature organized presentations & speakers from  suppliers and  the community , open discussion, mentoring, 50/50 draws, social time. There’s always time for one on one and small group discussions at the end of meetings. Refreshments and lite snacks are served .

 

Why Should I Come to Meetings?

» Your presence is an encouragement to others.

» No matter how long ago your surgery, no matter how many meetings you have attended, there is always information to be gained.

» Keep up on new developments and hear speakers who are invited, with information pertinent to ostomates.

» You may have questions and problems that can be asked and answered at the meeting or researched.

» Give support and encouragement to the volunteers (leaders & trained visitors) and to each other.

» Be a role model for new ostomates to show an active life can continue.
